A University That Gives Back

Some institutions talk about supporting first responders. Notre Dame shows up.

Every year, Duncan Hall organizes ND110—a charity stair climb where students and local firefighters climb 110 flights in Notre Dame Stadium, honoring the firefighters who climbed the World Trade Center towers on 9/11. Proceeds support HEART 9/11, continuing the mission of those who gave everything that day.

Notre Dame's Catholic schools hold annual Masses and Field of Honor ceremonies to recognize police, fire, and EMS personnel. The university highlights alumni who serve as first responders. The Notre Dame Police Department focuses on community-oriented training.

This isn't lip service. This is action.

Brotherhood Designs wants to say thank you—the only way we know how. With a flag.

How Notre Dame Honors Service

ND110 Charity Stair Climb

Students and local firefighters climb 110 flights in Notre Dame Stadium—symbolizing the World Trade Center's height—to honor 9/11 heroes and support HEART 9/11.

Field of Honor Ceremonies

Annual Masses and recognition events at Notre Dame Catholic schools thank police, fire, and EMS personnel for their service and sacrifice.

Alumni Who Serve

The university proudly highlights Fighting Irish alumni who serve as firefighters, emergency personnel, and first responders across the country.

A Flag Fit for the Fighting Irish

We're creating a custom Brotherhood Designs flag to present to the University of Notre Dame—crafted from retired fire hose, honoring the university's commitment to those who serve.

The unveiling will be an event worthy of the story—a moment to celebrate the connection between Notre Dame and the first responder community.

Every hose has a story. This one says "thank you."

Make This Happen

We're seeking sponsors to fully fund The Notre Dame Project—covering the flag, travel, our time, marketing, and potential unveiling enhancements.

• Custom flag creation from retired fire hose

• Travel to Notre Dame for presentation

• Event coordination and marketing

• Potential unveiling enhancements (venue, catering, entertainment)

Sponsors are invited to travel with Brotherhood for the unveiling, will receive recognition and visibility throughout the project—from announcement through unveiling. Opportunities for collaboration with the University and co-branding are possible.

This is a chance to be part of something meaningful—connecting your name with Notre Dame, with first responders, and with a story worth telling.
