Robert Demlow

President

Rob has spent more than twenty years serving with the Fishers Fire Department (Indiana) most of that time on C Shift on Ladder 92. Service has always been at the center of his life — shaped by a grandfather who served in World War II, a mother who taught for over thirty years, and a father who was a state policeman for more than three decades.

Rob and his wife Christi have been married since 1998. They both graduated from the University of Evansville, where Rob earned his degree in Exercise Science. After college, he explored different paths before becoming a personal trainer, a career he continued even after joining the fire department in 2005.

Rob and Christi raised three children — Kaylee, a light-metal fabricator and glassblower at Springfield Arts Association (Illinois); Keaton, a welder with Altec Industries in Carmel (Indiana); and Kaden, who is beginning his own journey toward a career in public service.

At his core, Rob believes in honoring everyday heroes, past and present. Service runs in his family, storytelling runs in his heart, and he’s dedicated his life to lifting up the people who protect and serve our communities.
