On Monday, August 17th, we had the honor of delivering another Brotherhood Designs flag to Indianapolis Fire Department Headquarters.
This piece was created using retired Indianapolis Fire Department fire hose — the same hose once carried on IFD apparatus and used by the men and women of the department to protect life and property throughout the City of Indianapolis.
A special thank you to IFD Chief Malone and IFD PIO Chief Reith for their support of Brotherhood Designs and for their desire to have a piece of IFD’s history proudly displayed at Headquarters.
For us, this is exactly what Every Hose Has A Story represents. Hose that spent years serving the community now has the opportunity to continue telling the story of the firefighters who pulled it, relied on it, and used it in service to others.
We are incredibly proud to see this flag hanging at Indianapolis Fire Department Headquarters and grateful to IFD for allowing us to preserve a piece of their history in such a meaningful way.
