On August 11th, we had the honor of installing Flag #151, an Engine Series, at East Madison Fire Territory Station 51.
This piece was built using retired fire hose from East Madison Fire Territory, giving hose that once served and protected their community a new purpose as a permanent display of pride, service, and tradition.
There is always something special about taking a department’s own retired hose and turning it into a piece that can hang inside their station for years to come. Every mark, stain, and section of hose carries a piece of that department’s history.
